Working with Newsletter & Outlook Issues
I have been recently working on a major site’s newsletter which really given us a run of money due to some inconsistencies in the outlook. It took us a quite a bit time to understand what was really happening;
The newsletter was composed by combining pieces of information which are accumulated to form a newsletter. Hence the content format was strictly based upon HTML. However, once we sent our first newsletter we realized that Outlook is missing/repeating some contents. While all the online email accounts was able to see the newsletter perfectly. So we came to conclusion that it must be some issue with only Outlook. Hence I have researched further and that’s where I discovered the great work by Microsoft.
“Microsoft Outlook 2007 is using Microsoft Word 2007 as rendering engine. This has quite a restrictive model for HTML”.
(For more details check this article http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2007/01/10/microsoft-breaks-html-email-rendering-in-outlook/ )
Before 2007 version, Microsoft always used internet explorer as default rendering engine for Outlook which has been somehow changed to Word since 2007 version to provide more security. This means that by default, user will see a restrictive set of HTML contents.
So what I have done is to construct the HTML contents from ground up carefully considering the elements or attributes not supported by the Microsoft for Word 2007 specifications. Therefore, if you are working on a newsletter, I would suggest you download the specification and validate it using the add-in (available from the following link) to verify that your contents confirms the specification.

This add-in will provide the validation for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, Expression Web and Office Share point designer.
Do a programmer need to be lover ?
Do a Programmer need to be lover? yeah, i am not joking, we are the strangest creature of GOD, Don't we??? we have enigma of computers and keyboards but
we still possesses heart LOL!!!! Actually i was thinking about my life history and than i reminded one the "key advice" from one of my senior when i used
to be in college. He one day came while i am typically a stereotype of BONGA PROGRAMMER [apology if you don't understand it, this is my own term , combination
of a bookworm plus core dedicated person who don't look out of the box/world ----You must know what i mean box], so he came to me and said "usman i some time
feel that you cant be a big lad in programming"[hay hay he is touching my nerves]. I asked "why do u think like that" . He said "hay dude you don't have
any girl sitting right with you while working on your assignment, look at me while i am in the lab"[as that guy used to have two LOLs].
I often remembered his words many time in my life later on, i don't know this love feeling given me more passion to work or taken my way out but i still
feel that sometime when i am really dejected i can either none at all [infinite loop with no statement] or i can just bulldoze every thing in an instant.
What you think do we be a lover or not ?
